Hit the Road with HOKA

With a huge selection of running shoes, HOKA is one of the main competitors in the running industry, serving both pro athletes and beginners. Each runner has different needs and objectives, so we are breaking down the HOKA road collection by best use to help you choose the right model for you!

Everyday

An everyday running shoe is the shoe of choice for logging the bulk of running miles. For newer runners, this is the only type of shoe needed to participate in running. Some everyday shoes are built with an emphasis on supreme comfort and use plush materials to surround the foot in luxury. Everyday shoes are manufactured with proven materials designed to handle the stress associated with regular running. These shoes will last about 500 to 800 kilometres (300 to 500 miles).

Clifton

As HOKA's flagship model, the Clifton is the best way for someone to experience all of the benefits of a HOKA shoe. The Clifton is known for having an incredibly cushioned ride while being extremely lightweight. This shoe provides an intro to max cushioning by supplying the runner with premium comfort that doesn't leave them feeling bogged down. Rather, the shoe has a springy pop that keeps legs and feet feeling great mile after mile.

Bondi

The HOKA Bondi takes the underfoot experience of the Clifton and turns it up to 11. The upper of the Bondi is slightly more structured than the Clifton, and the midsole increases in thickness and width to give added support with only a small increase in weight. The Bondi is one of the most cushioned running shoes on the market and is sure to provide your foot with structured cushioning, a solid lockdown, and a neutral yet stable ride. This shoe is great for running, walking, and long periods of time on your feet.

Bonus: Mach

Striking a perfect balance between speed and comfort, the HOKA Mach 5 energizes you to catch whatever it is you're chasing from a race day PR to that feeling of flight. Known for its ability to handle uptempo training, this snappy road shoe has been enhanced with a lighter, more responsive foam that gives you the freedom to push the pace.

Carbon Plated

Frequently used to break world records, carbon plated shoes are great for any runner who wants to enhance their performance. The carbon fiber plate allows the midsole to compress and expand faster, improving the responsiveness and the energy return at each step.

Carbon X

Balancing responsiveness with ample cushioning, the Carbon X provides the perfect combination to all those runners trying to unlock top speed on long range distances. Featuring an all new PROFLY X midsole compound, the Carbon X 3 gets a bouncy cushioning upgrade featuring HOKA's lightest and most responsive foam compound to date. Embedded within the foam is a Carbon Fiber Plate, designed to split and curl under the lateral toes, that works with the shoe’s meta-rocker geometry to give runners a very efficient and energy-saving ride that's perfect for maximizing performance over longer and harder efforts.

Bondi X

A fan favourite gets a carbon-fibre plate. Created with the intention of bringing carbon to all, the HOKA One One Bondi X has all the best qualities of the traditional max-cushioned Bondi with the added benefit of plated technology. The addition of the carbon fibre plate to the midsole gives runners a more stable landing platform and a snappier toe-off which creates confident and efficient strides. The foam surrounding the plate that makes up the midsole is HOKA’s signature EVA that absorbs impact and provides plush landings making the Bondi X perfect for pushing towards more mileage during daily training runs.

Stability

Stability shoes are a great option for those who overpronate or need added support. These shoes help to limit the inward rolling motion of the ankle while running or walking and assist in guiding the foot straight through the gait cycle.

Arahi

HOKA's Arahi is the support-focused sibling to the Clifton. Containing all of the same plushness underfoot, the Arahi also features HOKA's J-Frame. The J-Frame is a slightly firmer foam that wraps around the sides of the shoe to stabilize the foot during movement. This creates a cradle around the rear of the shoe that guides the foot through landing and takeoff. The Arahi's support features make the shoe a great option for runners who overpronate and walkers looking for extra stability.
