The new Saucony Peregrine 16 sets new standards in comfort, durability, and trail performance.
The biggest innovation is the redesigned cushioning system: with around 16% more PWRRUN foam than its predecessor and the reactive PWRRUN+ insole, every step offers noticeably more softness and energy. This means you can enjoy additional comfort on long runs without losing the direct, responsive feel for the ground that trail runners value so much.
Another highlight is the Vibram Megagrip outsole, which provides excellent grip on wet rocks, muddy trails, or loose gravel. At the same time, the Peregrine 16 runs smoothly on firm trails and even on short road sections. Aggressive when you need it to be versatile when you need it to be.
The upper has also been greatly improved: it is now up to 400% more abrasion-resistant and 90% more tear-resistant, perfect for demanding, rocky terrain. Despite its extreme durability, the material remains breathable and ensures a dry, comfortable foot climate. The integrated rock plate in the forefoot provides reliable protection against sharp rocks without adding weight or stiffness.
