Boost, the iconic adidas midsole foam featured in the Ultraboost 20, will soon be sent in samples to be studied by scientists in the microgravity of the ISS. The Upper: Reinvented for Comfort
The Ultra Boost 20 is the best version of the iconic Ultraboost to date, representing countless hours of research and testing. This update focuses on the upper, while retaining the fantastic midsole and outsole from the Ultra Boost 19. The Primeknit upper has been updated by integrating innovative Tailored Fiber Placement (TFP) technology. This technique lays down fibers precisely, resulting in a lightweight, high-quality upper. The foothold is now more secure, giving you better control and allowing you to fully experience the benefits of Boost cushioning. Adding to the secure foothold of the upper, the improved 3D Heel cradles the heel and locks it firmly in place, bringing a perfect mix of adaptability and support. It also reduces pressure and irritation on the Achilles tendon.
