HOKA Carbon X 3

Used by triathlon legend, olympic champion, and Ironman record holder Jan Frodeno, the new HOKA Carbon X 3 is capable of breaking any kind of record. Completely revamped for 2022, this new model balances responsiveness with ample cushioning, providing the perfect combination to all those runners trying to unlock top speed on long range distances.

Now in its third version, the Carbon X 3 sports an improved fit along with an even more performance-oriented cushioning system. Featuring an all new PROFLY X midsole compound, the Carbon X 3 gets a bouncy cushioning upgrade featuring HOKA's lightest and most responsive foam compound to date. Embedded within the foam is a Carbon Fiber Plate, designed to split and curl under the lateral toes, that works with the shoe’s meta-rocker geometry to give runners a very efficient and energy-saving ride that's perfect for maximizing performance over longer and harder efforts. New in this update is also the Engineered Knit Mesh on the upper, that provides a secure lockdown of the foot, while also feeling adaptable and breathable.

- The underfoot experience of the Carbon X3 felt almost identical to that of version 2, as the shoe rolls very smoothly and efficiently through the gait cycle, and allowed me to enjoy the shoe at a variety of paces.
