With the Prodigio 2, La Sportiva brings subtle but impactful changes to this jack-of-all-trades trail running shoe. Equally at home on technical mountain terrain or faster flowy sections, you'll feel balanced and confident covering ground efficiently.
In the midsole, supercritical XFlow foam offers a sturdy base with a hint more energy return than before. Combined with a more curved toe rocker for smooth-rolling propulsion, you'll feel composed during easy efforts, with a small boost whenever you feel like picking up the pace.
Up top, the high-tenacity AirMesh upper is revised for better breathability and durability. Acting on feedback from the original, this version 2 refines the heel cup shape and ankle collar height for a dialed-in and comfortable fit. As before, it retains the midfoot wrapping system and soft internal liner, so you'll feel securely locked down when the route gets rougher.
Underneath it all, its Frixion Red outsole shows there's no need to mess with a good thing. With its signature 4 mm Laspo lugs, it offers an all-purpose blend of grip and durability to take on anything the trails have to offer.
