Kirschbaum Competition is an advanced Co-Polyester string designed to offer both increased control and comfort. Kirschbaum informs us that through extensive research, Competition's first quality copolymer construction offers increased playability and improved tension maintenance. Due to the improved tension maintenance of Competition, Kirschbaum recommends reducing tensions used for traditional Polyester strings by 1-3 kgs. We found Competition to be more forgiving than many polyester based strings. String movement is minimal. Competition also offers good spin potential and feel.
