In generale

This is a very good string for me, but only as a hybrid. I tried a full string bed and was not a keen fan, it was not bad, but there are other strings around for me which are much better and less expensive (for instance Volkl Cyclone orange 1.25 mm). However, when I used it in the mains at 52 lbs with Volkl Power Fibre II 1.25 mm at 50 lbs in the crosses, I was extremely pleasantly surprised about the outcome: control, feel, spin, pace, comfort and durability all at a very high level. I also like the level of power this combination provides as it is power under control (spin), but I am playing the Yonex VCORE SV 98 (305g), maybe on a less power-orientated racquet I would want more power from my string. All in all, a great combination for me and in it, the Head Hawk Touch really stands out! From:Izzy, 5/15/18Comments: Ok string. After 2 sessions it felt dead so although comfort was not an issue you'll be restringing it very often to maintain playability. But I think that is most poly strings anyway. I am a synthetic or multi user. I got this for free as a demo string and decided to try it. Great consistency when fresh. Also noticed sweetspot shrunk compared to usual strings. Power is there when you hit through the ball but when you whip up with a very vertical swing path the power is completely sapped. From:Tata, 1/25/18Comments: College player here. I used this string for about 6 months. I can't say enough good things about the feel of the string. It is just rock solid. Unfortunately where it failed for me was its durability. If you swing with any sort of racquet head speed and shank a ball, the string WILL break. Eventually I just got tired of dealing with broken strings after fighting off a tough spin serve or mishitting a ball randomly. From:Eric, 12/11/17
