Let's all welcome another member to the Vanish family of fast running shoes! The Altra Vanish Pulse is a modern take on a traditional racing flat a tempo trainer with a grounded feel. Deftly avoiding a towering stack of wobbly cushioning, its low stack of FASTPCE ("fast pace") foam helps you stay connected, confident, and quick.
Complementing the straightforward midsole, its Sonic Racer outsole design combines ground-contact EVA with grippy rubber to minimize weight. This thick and durable rubber is strategically focused in the lateral heel and medial forefoot, right where you need it most for landing and a powerful toe-off.
To finish it off, the wide-gauge knit upper securely wraps your foot in breathable comfort, complete with a lie-flat tongue and ample room for your toes.
