Product Highlights
The Altra Torin 9 GTX combines the proven comfort of the Torin with waterproof protection and updated performance features for road running in changing conditions. Its new P35X™ Dual-Density cushioning uses a softer foam in the core and a firmer foam around the outside to create a balanced combination of underfoot comfort, responsiveness, and stability.
A durable Vibram® XS DURA rubber outsole provides reliable grip across a variety of road conditions. Compared with the Torin 8, the outsole offers 8.5% more grip, giving the Torin 9 GTX improved traction when running on wet or challenging surfaces.
GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit technology provides lightweight waterproof protection while maintaining flexibility and comfort. The flexible upper allows natural movement with every step, while the breathable mesh construction helps provide a comfortable fit during everyday runs.
Altra's FootShape™ fit gives the toes additional room to move naturally while maintaining a secure hold through the midfoot. Combined with the Zero Drop™ platform, this design promotes a more natural foot position and running experience.
The updated heel counter and tongue construction provide a softer, more comfortable step-in feel, while the refined upper delivers a secure and comfortable fit for daily road running in wet conditions.
