While many Altra models feature a level (or zero-drop) geometry, the Experience family offers a gentle 4 mm drop from heel to toe. This helps the Flow 3 feel more approachable for all runners, while improving efficiency and lower leg relaxation.
For this third edition, Altra redesigned the heel collar for extra comfort and enhanced the softer mesh's breathability. Now, you can run your weekly miles, errands, and meetups distraction-free.
Underneath your feet, you'll find the EGO P35 foam that was well-loved in version 2. This time, the compound has been tuned to be ever-so-slightly plusher, to ease your landings as the miles add up, while retaining its lightweight balance of subtle bounce. Combined with a new sock liner, your routine road runs will feel smoother than ever.

- EGO P35 is a compression-molded OBC (olefin block copolymer) blend, created for lightweight, balanced, and smooth running economy. It combines with a new sockliner and TPE strobel layer for an improved underfoot feel.

OUTSOLE
- Rubber compound delivers an excellent blend of strong grip, natural adaptability, and improved durability.
UPPER
